"What do you want." He says, squinting his blue-grey eyes.

"What do you got." I reply.

This was one of my lab technicians in my program, mind you, and not some shady crunk dealer on the east side. I've borrowed a PHD Ultra for the night and am in the process of doing an Indoor Air Quality Survey in my living room. Nothing major at all. Simply multiple gas, passive method of sampling. Only for H2S, LEL (lower explosive limit), oxygen, and carbon monoxide. Mostly concentrating on carbon monoxide since I have a fireplace. So far it looks like an average of 4ppm CO.

I am stressed out. My parents are away in HK, my brother is up in Whistler, and I dropped off my sister this morning for her Victoria Band Trip. hah.

But the stressed out part comes from my three exams next week, major paper due on the same day, and three parking tickets. Evidence? I am horribly tired and have the attention span of a plant right now. Last night I left my keys in the front door lock ALL F*CKING NIGHT. I'm kind of freaked out about that. Although it's probably paranoia and such.

How do I deal with it? I SHOP.

Damage this week:

  • R&W - pants, zip up s/s shirred top, flower tank, four pairs of earrings: ~$150
  • MAC - lipstick, SPF 15 moisturizer: ~$30 (redeemed a back to MAC for lipstick)
  • Lululemon - Kimono top, slit boogie crop pant, ~$150
  • The Bay - Triumph bra, ~$40

Don't forget the $80 grocery trip and the parking tickets. I'm fucked up dude.

I tell ya, stress breeds stress.

So. Roan is urging me to sign up for a xanga account so he can access my journal better. He has trouble keeping track of my entries and such and is wanting for me to post my entries so he has more ease of access. Here I go making a mountain out of a molehill.

But like Scott had once said, I've been "writing since before 'blog' was a word". It's not that I'm anti blogs or anything...it's a number of excuses things.

I don't know if I can upkeep a blog. I have a hard time updating this. I don't like the feeling of a predisposed / template / "blogging" site. Blogs are informal...but then so are some of my journal entries.

Aren't I always the one who strays from mainstream? I'm bloody difficult.

The good thing would be that I could update whenever, whereever, as opposed to the situation now when I can only upload written entries at home, on this computer, with this program. But xanga / diaryland / diaryx all reek of geocities / yahoo. And you know how I feel about them.

I dunno dude. I have to think about this.

Well...Better get some shit done.
