I'm liking this term *much* more than last term. Already. We have a few new instructors which make things more interesting, including IAQ instructor Mr G3tty, communicable diseases with Mr Ch!u, and toxicology with J0e. The latter is not quite as enjoyable as any other class (although it scores high boredom points like law zzzzzzzz) But the other two have me learning more. I was talking with a girl in my class and she agreed that Ch!u's teaching methods and in-depth knowledge about our field as well as in his expertise make his class very flowing and enjoyable. He's a rather serious fellow, Chinese with an English accent. He also looks rather young, but is in fact the program head of his department. Go figure. Mr G3tty has a mullet. Ok...well a conservative mullet, but still...a mullet is a mullet is a mullet. I found myself giggling inside on the first day when he was introducing himself and such. Both instructors ask a lot of questions and engage the class in their lectures. They also relate student comments back to their lecture material. And they know a LOT. And I'm sure if they didn't know an answer to a question, they'd find out for us. Almost finished the felted bag. Just a couple more rounds, a nice felting in the washing machine, and I will have a new striped bag to use. yaay. Also posted picture of the mittens. The thumbs came out a bit longer than I had anticipated, and they didn't exactly felt evenly; i.e. one mitten bigger than the other. :( Oh well. You live you learn. Next time I'll do it by machine.
