I'm in the middle of studying for Communicable Diseases, Indoor Air Quality, and Water Supply. I also have to write a lab and assignment for Thursday, plus an assignment for the 24th. On top of this, I have a two hour break Tuesday, which is tomorrow, but it is not all for good since for the next month, we'll be getting seven hours straight of classes every bloody tuesday. It's not the first time it's happened, but our instructor went and booked a doctors' appointment during our class and decided to make up the time by extending the following classes into our meager half-hour break, eliminating us of even that small "free" time.

Aside from that, I"m still knitting. Started some sections of an afghan: 2 squares down, 46 to go. Also got some of the sweater done, and have also started a soft baby teddy bear!! It's a tiny one, just to test it out, based on a pattern from Debbie Bliss' Teddy Bears. It is looking very cute. Have yet to work on any pages here and there since I am slightly busy.

It is day one of my quest to lose five pounds by my birthday. Birthday is not too far away...so unfortunately, I don't know if I can do it. But I'll try hard. So far it's been gym in the morning, grapefruit in the meal, and generally, less junk and more fibre. We'll see how this goes.

On a high note, I got a $20 gift cert in the mail! I think it was from a draw when me and Mark visited ABC Country restaurant on Barnet Highway. Yaay lucky pants! (Yes, I know it is a diner, but free food is always good.) On a low note, I probably won't be able to use it until after my birthday. boo.

I'd prefer to end on a high note...a while ago, I wrote the fine folk at Superior Tofu a little note of appreciation and suggestion. I got a reply thanking me for the suggestion and also a coupon / recipe offer! woohoo! Did I mention that I love free stuff? (Even it if is coupons.) Anyways, I am not complaining because actually their dessert tofu is silky silky smooth, never beany, and always refreshing (but satisfying) to eat! I can't wait to try their new watermelon flavour....actually they need to converge with the bubble tea flavour people and make some taro, honeydew, milk tea flavours too. :p
