Good GOD. Is it December again? And right when I'd thought that I'd do my Christmas shopping early.. now it is too late again.

Anyways..at least today was somewhat well-used. Got sleep. Knit. Studied (?) Scrubbed all living plant forms off of bathtub surfaces. Scrubbed the enchanted bowl. Disinfected the washroom mirror, counter area, tile portion of the walls, and floor. Thank god my washroom is the size of a cheap sushi restaurant booth, I didn't know how much more of it I could take.

Vacuumed. Spent some quality time with my mother involving pho for a late lunch, a trip to Chinatown, going to Oakridge and running into great auntie and uncle #9 not once, but twice (BOY. That just MADE my day).

We also made fun of this 60-year-old dude who thought he was hot shit or something, complete with long dark hair, trenchcoat, sunglasses and his hands in his pockets, strutting around like he was a supermodel or something. ahhhh. So you had to be there.

Completed the bonding with a round of julius' and Kernels' Caramel Corn.

That stuff is much too expensive. $5.50 for a small bag...and it wasn't even that good!! I prefer the place at Bellis Fair where we always picked up a bag before going back home across the border.

So I've been busy. At school for 26 hours per week, at work for 16 hours a week, correspondance course for 3-5 hours a week, in transport for 5-6 hours a week, gym / rock climbing for 2-4 hours, homework for ~9-14 hours, spend 16-22 hours with or on the phone with Mark and knitting, sleeping and general stuff like cooking, eating, and showering comprises the rest.

Kind of sad how I can roll off my schedule like that, isn't it?

Alas, we are in a constant state of change. This coming week is last week of classes; pools and hydro are already cancelled to allow for us to study for finals; other classes are still a go. Then next year, it changes yet again. Oh good-ie.

Do I knit much? Why yes, of course. I haven't knit since I was younger at holiday time, and I still am not "good"...I don't have the patience for huge projects, and I am too lazy to check my gauge and all. It'll catch up with me though, I'm sure. Here's my work in progress.

I've been cooking here and there. Mostly for lunch. Chili. Tiramisu. Cookies. Ribs. Mr. Noodles. Mr. Noodles. Mr. Noodles. There was a period about two weeks ago when I simply had NO food in the kitchen, except for junk like corn chips, marshmallows and wafers and whatever. I think you could tell by my demeanor during that time.

Anyways, what do you want for Christmas? Is it big? Small? Expensive? Trendy?

I want trendy knitting books, information about Chinese knotting (do I hear a craft change here??), lots and lots of pretty yarn, a REAL Christmas tree, and general mushy gushy stuff. You know me.

Back to life.
