Wow. This has really been a good year. It's been one good thing after another! Yesterday Mark and Ewa took me out for lunch for my birthday...but they didn't tell me that they'd invited Roan. It turned out to be a great surprise when me and Mark went to go meet them for coffee at Starbucks, and we walked by this very *familiar* guy looking at phone card prices.

I *knew* it was him! I basically craned my neck around to see if it was him, and when he turned to look at me too, he jumped up, I jumped up, and screamed, "ROAN!! I knew it was you!"

I was so excited to have seen him after four years. We didn't know whether to shake or hug. I eventually gave him a big hug. ahhhh!!! It was good to see him.

The five of us talked over coffee (I had toffee nut MILK because I rarely drink coffee)...decided to go to cactus club, walked by Red's and went inside and had some lunchie! It was sooo... COOOL. Even though Mark didn't tell me that he'd invited Roan, it wasn't really planned as a surprise, but it turned out to be a really great..gift almost. Anyways.

Who's Roan? Those who have been reading since high school....which is namely ME, will remember that Roan is my "brother" from high school. Dark, devious, pessimistic. Just like me back then. I think we understood each other much more because we weren't all so "candy and bubble gum" - like, and we were both going through very wierd situations in our lives at that time.

We talked yesterday about how things "get better over time"..I mean things stay the same, but you have to decide to not let them bother you. We exchanged email addresses and phone numbers. Hopefully we'll keep in contact this time around.

...As I was explaining to Mark yesterday..it's not that we actually "lost" contact, more like we silently, simultaneously agreed at graduation to let go of everything to do with high school. "We were just so glad to be rid of high school. We just let go." I said to him.

This is how I enticed Helen to commit suicide this morning:

[Jessica enters food room with her morning peanut butter on toast. (i made bread over the weekend. It is fibericious.) Jessica swarms around Helen on the computer.]
Helen: Ahh. Get away from me with that thing. I haven't had breakfast!
Jessica: haha. oops. Sorry.
Jessica: [laughs] here. Have a *bite*!!
Helen: Go die! I'm allergic to peanuts!
Jessica: aiyah..sorry!! [laughs and turns around to mike.] I'm trying to kill Helen.

heh. No. I KNOW that people are seriously anaphallactic to peanuts. I shouldn't be joking about that. Next topic.

My workout this morning was goooood. The extra minute to the squats is really killing, however I do need to up my weights on lunges (i haven't since i started) ...perhaps up my weights on chest as well. For some reason, my biceps have been taking extremely long to strengthen. I think they are the weakest part of my workout. I always have to take a break in the middle of the song, or basically practice poor form on biceps. baah.

My new instructor for business is FUNNY. Partially because he IS funny, partially because he resembles the " Surreal Gourmet", Bob Blumer, as well as a LOT (in actions and looks) like the blond guy with glasses from NewsRadio. It was hilarious listening to him make his "aah" sounds during class. I almost lost it a couple times in the hour of class we had.

eeh. Now it's on to homework. I can't believe *that* was spring break.
