Wow. What a busy week....and now it gets even busier, but more sedentary. I just finished my last exam today and got a couple things done this afternoon. One was uploading / resizing / reformatting photos. This last batch was kicking around on the camera, and finally made it to my brother's harddrive aftermuch prodding and pushing. This will be the last batch for a while since he is taking it back to futureshop to get it fixed. Great.

Yesterday was Mark's Dad's birthday. woohooo!! finally a formal dinner with all of his (not so big) family. I don't know why, but I had pictured an army of Mr. and Mrs. Y's, instead of this table (or two) of cute cherubs and bubbly smiles. It was SUCH A YUMMY DINNER. We went to this place in Chinatown that has been there since forever, and had deepfried glutinuous rice-chicken dish. I am totally craving that right now...also a delicious complimentary soup, crispy chicken, a beautiful curry beef brisket, and lots of goodies. Unfortunately we had filled up on IHOP earlier in the day and were too tired and full to completely enjoy the meal. :o|

We were in great company. His family is warm and pleasant, inviting and courteous.. his niece came up to me afterwards when she was hugging everyone goodbye, then realized who I was and half walked away.. I was like, "hey you can hug me!" So I got a hug out of it. hehe.

I was writing to Lieh that I am HAPPY!! I've been on this high all day, even through my ELEX final where Jerry actually turned to me while the test papers were being handed out and sang, "It's the end of the world as we know it.."

To which I laughed, and said, "really? I"m hearing 'Another one Bites the Dust' ringing through MY ears."

Right now it isn't either of those songs in my head. It's a l'il James Brown, BAY BAAA..."I FEEEEL good..." :)

It has been a good day. I did NOTHING the rest of the day! How cool is that? (except for a lot of dishes and washing. but that's cool). Tomorrow will be homework day..catch up day. Perhaps I will bake a cake or make some bread. Also visit the gym. I missed this morning's workout because I was lazy (errm...i was studying for my exam.) The instructor asked my mother about my absence. "Did she not wake up in time?" That is cool dood. I told you she was a good instructor. Anyways I am going to a class tomorrow instead to repay for todays' absenteeism.

I have a lot of business cards sticking around my room:

Stormtech - Champion

Burnaby, BC
V5M 3Z3
Champion outlet store..lots of affordable sports wear, hoodies, pullovers. I'm buying my sports bra from there. Open M-F, 10-5, and Sat 10-4. Closed Sunday.

SGS - Peter G. Taylor
Manager of Laboratory Services

This was from a guest lecturer last week. Nice guy. Very informal lecture, not to specific about what the lab did in terms of procedure..but then that's probably their secret or whatever.

JR Laboratories Inc.
(ISO 9002 Registered)
From our tour of the labs last week. NICE lab. Very high tech, very well-to-do, nice atmosphere, nice people, very informative. Good service, good tour, very helpful.

Sea Harbour Seafood Restaurant
3711 No. 3Road Richmond
BC, Canada, V5X 2B8
This is where I'm eating tomorrow night bay-bee!!! It's a franchise chinese restaurant, there's also one in Rosemead, California at 3939 N. Rosemead Blvd. I know their buns are very tender and moist and delicious and fragrant, I know that the one in richmond has great crab and good crab-steamed rice. Also great service and specialty dishes.

Man I am actually tired now. . .there's not much to say anymore. Except goodnight. night!

Listening to: Frenchie Davis and Kimberley Locke's version of "Band of Gold", and a l'il bit of Ruben Studdard's "Don't you Remember". Yep I am set for tomorrow night.

Digesting: Some chinese "ginger custard" I made. It didn't turn out too well, but was still yummy.

Dreaming: I dreamt about lighting matches, the exam being postponed *another* day, and about unveiling some deception about people around me to others. *oooh secrets*
