It feels like it's been a long while since I've written. It's not that I have nothing to write about; I went for lunch and banquet on Friday, shopping on Saturday, my cousins' graduation and out with Mark yesterday. Today I had to assist my mother with a car tune up, go to a dentist appointment, more shopping, good Greek food, and to pick up my sister after school. At my cousin's graduation yesterday, I was proud and beaming and smiling, perhaps the same way she was. I managed to snap some shots of her in her seat and walking towards us in the procession. Her graduating class is some 230 students, and the administration decided to make it a little more personalized by reading a short bio for. every. single. student. as they walked across the stage. Nice touch, but still. A couple students before my cousin, I walked briskly to the "photograph" section of the arena to snap a shot...i think I got a good picture, but in doing so, I missed hearing her bio. I guess life's like that. You concentrate on perfection and getting things "just right" so much that you miss what's really going on. I need to live more.
