The computer is still not fixed...er...not fixed still. Which is grammatically correct? It is a rainy Saturday. I slept late last night crafting one of my first birthday cards, this one to my cousin. I started with some "natural" paper, and added some florists' paper for the start of a bouquet, some florists' tape shaped into leaves, and some green wire for stems. The flowers I was not pleased with. They were simply tissue paper...bah. Inside I drew a stick figure of myself in purple ink. I glued on some confetti balloons into my "hand". I have been feeling like I need to be my hands all busy. I've been yearning to make some bags or something, even though I can't sew for my life, and my knit projects NEVER get done. I went up to Metrotown today with Isabelle and found a moving sale for "Piggy Bank Place". I ended up spending ~$10 on straws for straw flower "bouquets", and two different sizes of origami papers. Yesterday I got off "early", but had to make up for a missed appointment. Afterwards, Helen, Jerry, Mike, Gene and I went out for lunch. It was another late lunch, this time at "little flying elephant" in Crystal Mall. We shopped around in the candy store, anime / CD / VCD stores and our last stop was "Everyday", a mom n' pop stationary store with cute plush dolls, handmade greeting cards, and the usual Asian pen / pencil / note paper / rulers. We seemed to wait FOREVER, the four of us outside the store, for Jerry to buy *another* mechanical pencil. This one was Mashimaro. The freak was so uptight about it, when Helen pretended to drop it over the railing, he gasped and pulled her arm back. When I pretended to throw it back to him, he threatened, "you're so friggin' dead!!" What a funny fellow. I'm tired. it's only five-thirty, and I still have dinner. It's my cousin's birthday dinner. I feel like sleeping..and I have yet to study. I am SO dead.
