It is 10:48 pm and some of the screaming has piped down. People are sleeping, you know.

Canucks have beaten the Minnesota Wild 4-3 in the first overtime, scoring a goal in the last four minutes to tie the game 3-3, going on a powerplay thanks to a high-sticking and beating Fernandez to WIN THE GAME!!!

Don't worry Helen. It's noisy here too...although perhaps mine is a lot quieter and not produced by everyone who just WATCHED the game. :p

I am TIRED. I hate being a woman sometimes because of the monthly body changes. I get tired, bloated, restless, and stressed out. Although I must say, right now I am more relaxed than I was last week. The most sucky thing would have to be fatigue. Plus I turn into an utter weakling. This morning, I actually had to lower my weights for class:

Warm up: 1 pair large Squats: 1 pair large + 1 pair small Chest: 1 pair large for presses, 1 pair medium for flies Back: 1 pair large + 1 pair small Triceps: 1 pair med, 1 pair small Biceps: 1 pair med Lunges: 1 pair med, 1 pair small Shoulders: 1 pair med 5 min. Abs 5 min. stretching

Today was a LONG day. After the workout, showered, school -- 3 LONG huge hours of Quality control lecture that would simply NOT end. 1 hour process systems, and finally -- Anne's surprise party. I made her a "surprise ball" with a core of a "feelgood bathbomb" from LUSH. Then a handful of scented bath jellies shaped like bears and spheres. And of course, some balloon confetti. It was a silly gift but I hope she enjoys it.

There was a LOT of food. Soya chicken, spinach dip, hummus, mango cheesecake and coffee cream cake, creme caramel, samosas, chips, juices and pop, candy, and a LAVOSHE tray. What's a lavoshe tray, you say? Why, it's a fancy tortilla rolled with garlicky cream cheese, lettuce, and an assortment of deli meats. Delicious.

After that was an afternoon of MORE Quality Control, and while everyone was all giddy and happy, we were quite content to stay at school for an extra hour before heading off to BC place for a food show. Not much there, not too friendly, and definately not the deal when you're used to paying $5 for a BCFT meeting where you get all SORTS of free goodies. The "samples" they serve at the BC place food show were portioned small, and yet you had to PAY extra for them on top of the door entrance fee. crappy!

There weren't too many exhibits, and considering that they had such a huge venue (BC Place, literally the Football stadium), it was pretty disappointing.

But of course, a night out with my JERKS is never lost time. Tired. Tired tired tired.

Going to attempt some homework before hitting the hay.
