Betcha opened this email pretty quick, huh.

I cannot believe that I failed to mention the shotgun wedding I attended last Sunday, July 21st. The bride was a friend of my cousin, and the groom was a classmate. My cousin met Amber while she was in Canadian school in Singapore...she does not, however, remember the groom at all. Ansen, however, does remember her.

I was my cousins' date in the lowest-key wedding i have EVER attended. We drove out to meet the couple at richmond mall, then woke up and picked up their chauffeur, then a third pickup of another witness at Richmond center. It was crazy, wild love crazy.

We followed their green Honda civic to the justice of peaces' home, and waited in the living room while he gave them a briefing. The bride and groom were giddy and giggly, and when she flubbed up the english in her vow she burst out in a short stint of bubble-gum laughter. The witnesses all joined her while Anson beamed and the pastor looked on disapprovingly.

It was funny though. Even I thought so.

The groom was sweating like a motherfucker. He didn't try to hide it either, with big gestures to sop it all up.

I was honoured to be there as my cousin's date. ...It was a thrilling experience because here were two people so obviously in love, in jeans, with all of their guests in some form of denim...and the key thing was that they got married.

And that they did.

Congratulations guys.

Izzy, Karen and I went to the beach yesterday for a little fun in the sun. In essence...we pigged out and giggled like schoolgirls. Wait. We are all schoolgirls. haha. ha. We also talked smack about my brother's girlfriend who is rude and strange and so does NOT have any blessings at all to enter my family.

Mark stopped by to pick up something and we played some frisbee. We were getting pretty good there..then Mark tried to perfect his Maltese cross and headstands on the rings a couple meters away. He was TIRED. I asked him if he could do it a bit slower, hold the form longer, he said "Yeah. But I'll be tired. so No."

Two little sisters were playing in the sand by the rings. "He can't do it!!" I laughed at them. They snickered and pointed at him and laughed, then the three of us continued to taunt him until he did.

"Nyah nyah! haha....you can't do it!!" it was CLASSIC.

I love that man. Truely, madly, deeply.

I think I'll try looking for another temp job for the remainder of Summer. My cousin will be going to singapore, and Mark will be gone for a couple days... Plus the cash wouldn't hurt. I have nothing to lose.

Have a GREAT day!!!
