I'm baa-aaaack!! I promised someone a long time ago, perhaps myself, that I'd be back by Christmas....actually I think I promised Helen that I'd be back by summertime, but that never happened...sorry Helen! But here I am, back during the holiday break.

I was still writing, albeit to my notify list, but it was still technically online. So I'm back, with a (semi-)new layout, let me know how you like it!

What have I been up to? School. I went to Victoria this past week with Jerry, Helen, Gene, T.J., and Greg after finals. We celebrated Helen's promotion at work and Jerry's Birthday (so it was a couple days late!) My brother's girlfriend is visiting from Singapore, but I haven't really had a chance to talk to her. Either she's here, and I'm not, or vice versa.

I am going to shit my pants Christmas shopping. I still have to buy about 60% of my gifts within the next 2 days. What...is...WRONG with me!!?

No Vegas this year. It kinda took the glamour out of Christmas, but added a more homey feel. Even our Christmas tree this year looks gimped, but it is real, unlike the past years where we had our decked out skinny fake tree...this year we have a decked out skinny real tree. I actually wish that we had our fake tree back, but oh well.

I feel good. I have already had several huge dinners this holiday season. We totally porked out in Victoria on ribs and rich pasta and cheesecake...then came back and had all-you-can-eat-Korean bbq and sushi. Yesterday was the company dinner at Sun Sui Wah, complete with beer- and pop- drinking contents, and even a banana-eating contest. I cannot believe that this skinny guy that works for my dad ate 6 whole bananas in under 2 minutes. That was GROSS. He was like a circus act or something. I want to see him do it with donuts or pie or something. Of course, we had the typical raffle-draw, and our family won a corningware plate set for four.

Tonight is a Chinese holiday, "zuo dong", so we're also going out for dinner. All these dinners and no appetite...me and Isabelle were saying that we don't have our winter appetites because we're not on the rag nor is it cold enough outside to be consuming large amounts of food. Anyone feelin' that?

Ahh! I am also meeting an OJ'er from cali...umm...can I say that? I'll post some pictures (if she'll let me). I'll also post some pics from Victoria.

Christmas dinner is ON. we have already purchased about 50% of the food, the rest is produce and cream and such perishables that won't keep too long.. I'll be sure to take some pictures the big dinner too. Meanwhile, I'll be posting past entries as well, so be sure to check in soon!
