Years ago I used to be pretty heavily into photography, and the urge has been coming back lately. I'm not your usual landscapes or portraits photiographer. My calling seems to be what I refer to as "Industrial Art" photography. Specifically I vehicles or heavy equipment as my subjects. I prefer B&W but I'm not above using colour if it suits the subject. I don't often use the whole subject but prefer to concentrate on the shapes or collections of shapes in whatever I'm photographing.
I confess I'm lazy. Since the advent of digital cameras, scanners and adobe Photoshop, I wouldn't even imagine going back into a darkroom. I can do in minutes on my computer what it used to take hours to do with a bunch of expensive equipment and nasty chemicals.
There are a couple of my pictures back on the Run Sheet page, but they're from years ago. The pictures below were taken recently of a derelict 1946 Ford Pickup truck in a neighbour's front yard.
